Happy November! I swear this year is flying by but I’m so excited for all of the holidays coming up. This is such a fun time of year. Today’s look is something every girl needs in her closet: a little black dress. They are so effortless looking and can be worn to just about anything. I found this one last year and knew I just had to have it because of the lace detailing. I’ve linked three similar options to this dress and if you look around online there are TONS of gorgeous black dresses out there. I would definitely pick up one for all of the holiday festivities coming up.

I hope you all have a great rest of your week and thanks for stopping by!

Black & Camel

Happy Monday! Cold weather has official arrived so it’s time to bring out the turtlenecks and boots. This turtleneck is a great layering piece and looks good by itself. I got this skirt last year and was so undecided about it I never wore it until now. I never could find the right shoes to go with it and then I finally realized black would be my best bet and I like the outcome. These boots are another great brand if you’re on the hunt for OTK boots. They look so good on and stay up on your leg! I highly recommend them.

I know it may be Halloween but I’ve been watching Hallmark Christmas movies all weekend. Any one else love them? They’ve got me wanting to put my tree up right now! lol I probably will within the next few weeks so I can actually enjoy it. I hope you all have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

I’m FINALLY back with an outfit post! We were on fall break the week before last and then last week I was busy finalizing everything for our upcoming Christmas recital. So needless to say I’ve been a little busy and haven’t had time to shoot any looks. 😔 But I’m hoping to get back to my normal posting schedule so be sure to keep checking back for new posts.

The leaves are finally starting to change and it’s so beautiful! This dress just screams fall and was one of my favorite purchases from last year. I’ve linked a few similar options and luckily floral is big for fall so there’s TONS of fall floral dresses out there.

Over the knee boots are back again and I’m not mad about it. I finally caved last year and invested in two really nice pairs. They are worth every penny. I know there are a lot of budget friendly options out there but if you’re wanting good quality and for them to actually stay up on your legs and not scrunch down you need to stick with name brand shoes. I promise it makes a difference. These come in a few colors and are currently on sale for under $100 🙌🏻 I love to wear them with dresses, jeans, and leggings. So if you’re on the market for a new fall boot these are a must!

I hope you all are enjoying your week and thanks so much for stopping by!

How to Wear White in the Fall

I’m sure we’ve all heard the rule “you can’t wear white after Labor Day” at some point in our lives, and while that is true for some things I do think we can incorporate basic white pieces in all seasons. Obviously “summery” looking white things such as white sandals, white eyelet tops/dresses definitely need to be put up for the colder months. But a good pair of white jeans can easily be worn in the Fall. All you have to do is pair them with neutral colors! For today’s looked I paired my white jeans with this tan sweater. I like that it is a v-neck and has a line down the front to give it some detail. It also is longer in the back so it would be perfect with leggings! I also added my favorite booties from last year to match the color scheme. I kept the jewelry simple since this is a more casual outfit.

I’m so excited that I am officially on Fall Break! I need a good break before all the Christmas Recital craziness starts. Plus this weekend is one of my favorite festivals and everyone knows festival food is the best food. I hope you all have a a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Pink Ruffles

Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing a more casual look but the details make it a little more dressy. I love this sweatshirt so much. In fact I have it in another color as well. It’s the perfect way to feel comfy and still look cute. And blush is big for fall (yay 🙌🏻 ) so this fits right in. I bought this last year but I linked an almost identical version as well as the dress version they came out with this year! These shoes are THE cutest. One of my best friends from college got us these for her wedding to wear to the reception, which was the sweetest thing. They are so fun and girly and instantly add some detail to any outfit.

I hope you all enjoy your week and please remember to keep those affected by the horrible tragedy in Las Vegas in your prayers! 🙏🏻 💗

Cream Ruffles

Happy Monday guys! The weekend felt long at the time but looking back I realized it went by so fast! Today I’m sharing my new favorite sweater that is perfect for fall/winter. As you may know detailed sleeves are huge right now and I’ve always loved a good ruffle so this sweater is the best of both worlds. In fact I liked it so much I also bought it in gray. 🙊 I paired it with THE softest jeggings. These are a good wash for fall and super cozy so they don’t feel as stiff as real jeans can feel sometimes. And of course the best part of the outfit is the shoes! I’m obsessed with these! I wasn’t on board with the whole mule trend when they first started but after I seen how cute some of the embellished and bow ones were I knew I had to get some. I scored these on sale during Labor Day weekend but even the regular price isn’t too big of a splurge. Every girl deserves a good pair of cute shoes every now and then. 😉

I’ve got a busy week coming up but it’s all exciting things so that makes it not so bad. I hope you all enjoy your Monday! Thanks for stopping by!

Bell Sleeves

Happy First Day of Fall y’all! I’ve got my favorite fall candle burning and have been working on getting my decorations ready. Unfortunately it’s 80 degrees out today so we technically can’t dress super fall but that’s what dresses like this one are for! The lace bell sleeves gives you a nice breeze but the color is still appropriate for the season. And these cutout booties are perfect so that your feet won’t get too hot. These are actually my Momma’s but I may have stolen them for this shoot. 😉 This is an older dress but I linked one that’s pretty much the same. I’m loving all the bell sleeves this season! They dress up any look and make you feel super feminine. I hope you all enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by!
